This national children’s charity were looking to increase their annual Christmas appeal income with a more emotive, engaging direct mail campaign.
Using first-hand storytelling (something that was new to the charity), allowed us to pack the story with authentic emotion to bring the reader closer to the devastating situation. Identifying them as part of the solution helps them feel like the heroes of the story and so giving is more likely to be a natural next step.
